Good news to close out 2023!
My application for the Hurston/Wright Foundation’s Virtual Screenwriters Workshop was accepted, and I’ll be attending in January!

The mission of the Hurston/Wright Foundation is to discover, educate, mentor, and develop African American writers. Named for literary geniuses Zora Neale Hurston and Richard Wright, the programs of the Foundation preserve this legacy and work to ensure the future of Black writers and the literature they produce.
For all the rejections and non-responses I’ve received this year alone, this is a big accomplishment. I’m truly thankful for the opportunity to meet, learn from, exchange ideas with, and be part of a community sharing in the same cause.
Looking forward to 2024.

Congratulations and well deserved!
